As their name would suggest, inspiration is drawn from vintage accessories, nostalgic illustrations and retro storybooks. Runaround Retro founders Ness and Chloe design and make every piece by hand from their Somerset, UK studio, for extra charm and individuality.
Reminiscent of flower-filled gardens, wild meadow fields and small woodlands, for each collection of hair bobbles, hair clips, velvet bows and alice bands, Runaround Retro choose their favourite Liberty Prints fabrics, which are immediately recognisable for their attention to detail, high-quality finish and distinctly British look. To make each of their pieces easy to style whilst being sustainable, strong and durable, eco-elastic from Austria and robust barrettes are used for fastenings.
