Based in England, Apolina founder Caroline worked in fashion for over ten years before launching her own label. Inspired by the birth of her two daughters and a desire to create more freely from passion, rather than to meet the fast pace that is common within the women’s fashion industry, Apolina collections carry a strong sense of authentic style without the feeling of passing trends; instead focused on longevity and craft. 
Bringing the mood of a vintage holiday, the faded glamour of Capri, Biarritz and the Côte d'Azur, the Apolina SS23 collection features a beautiful selection of updated favourites and new season pieces. Described by England based Apolina designers as eccentric, arty and bohemian, we absolutely love the floral and nature-inspired embroidery.

We have chosen five beautifully designed and made dresses and blouses for ages 2-3, 3-5 and 5-7, each made from 100% organic cotton and 100% organic linen.

Cece Dress - Folk Calico
A sweet update on our classic, much-loved ‘Maren’ and ‘Sissy’ smocks, the Cece Dress is crafted in our beautiful ‘folk calico’ print linen. Contrast ‘bay blue’ hand smocking adds decoration in addition to bold naive embroidery to sleeves and skirt.
Mya Dress - Bay Blue
Mya is an extra special 1960s style organic cotton dress in our highlight tone ‘bay blue’. With sweetly puffed sleeves, beautiful contrast floral embroidery and a full skirt, this piece is a retro dream!
Hedda Blouse - Magnolia
Ethically made in India, Hedda is a sweet and special A-line blouse in soft ‘magnolia’ linen. The gathered sleeves and pretty collar feature dramatic contrast embroidery in bright pastel tones.
Betty Dress - Magnolia
An Apolina favourite, the ‘Bettina’ has been updated with a cute puff sleeve for the summer season. Cut from a lightweight 100% organic cotton dobby with pinch smocking at the neckline and sleeves and a statement vintage-inspired collar. The beautiful hemline is trimmed with bright pastel toned floral embroideries.
Stevie Dress - Wisteria
A beloved Apolina classic, the Stevie dress returns in a soft ‘wisteria’ shade. Originally inspired by ‘70s Mexican dresses and Swedish folk embroidery, Stevie features refreshed contrast embroideries and a sweetly gathered fuller skirt. Cut from linen, hand crochet stitching adorns the neckline and sleeves.
Sure to capture the heart of anyone who appreciates folk craft and hand stitched adornment, Apolina styles are delicate in aesthetic but ultimately made to be worn by young adventurers. robust finishes, shapes that allow for movement and layerable styling possibilities are notable across the collection which we are absolutely charmed by!
